The Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Management Engineering provides the knowledge required from Management Engineers, whose especially wide spectrum of knowledge and skills enables them to organise and manage industrial companies and in particular, production and logistics processes.
It develops the skills required to operate in production processes. These are complex processes requiring cooperation of different resources to meet the corporate objective: Management Engineers are therefore expert in technology and economics, logistics, finance, organisation and safety.
It fosters students' ability to consider business issues with an interdisciplinary approach, prepares them for teamwork with technicians and managers from different educational backgrounds, and matches the logical-quantitative vision of the engineer with the practical-application needs of the industrial manager.
It prepares individuals to take advantage, as entrepreneurs, directors or consultants, of all opportunities to improve processes, develop the enterprise and increase competitiveness locally.
It gives the opportunity to continue studies with the Master's Degree Programme in Management Engineering.
Management Engineers can work both in small- and medium-sized businesses which make up a large majority of the Italian production system, as well as in major enterprises and the areas of excellence that are the benchmark of the Italian production sector. There also many employment opportunities for them in service and consultancy firms, Public Administrations and strategic sectors (e.g., energy, health care and finance).
