Why study Electronics Engineering at the University of Brescia?
  • The educational offer of the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Electronics Engineering meets the requirements of both product and process innovation. This Study Programme lays the foundations for a professional figure who is able to innovate using the electronics and telecommunications to improve performance and/or cut costs of products and production processes in a wide variety of sectors.

  • This Study Programme develops the understanding of and ability to apply modern electronic technology to create increasingly compact, smart and low-cost systems.

  • Students can choose between two curricula, namely “Electronics and Instruments” and “Telecommunications”. The first mainly focuses on the design and management of electronic systems for control, measurement and automation, whereas the second focuses on equipment, systems and infrastructures for acquiring, processing and transporting information in telecommunications systems.

  • Graduates in Electronics Engineering will be able to continue their studies with the Master's Degree Programme in Electronic Engineering or that in Communication Technologies and Multimedia or, as an alternative, enter the world of work directly at the end of the three-year first level degree programme.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering are perfectly fit for working in companies that operate in the following sectors:

  • production of hardware-software components and systems,
  • production of CNC machine tools,
  • plant automation,
  • telecommunications services, audio and video processing,
