Giorgio Bertanza Study Programme Sheet
Why study Land and Environmental Engineering at the University of Brescia?
  • The environment is the dimension where each human being lives. Today more than ever the transformations brought about by man have affected the environmental balances.

  • Technique, enlightened by professional ethics, is essential for reducing negative impacts of anthropic works and for finding alternative and more sustainable models of development.

  • Only a managerial class properly trained on environmental intervention techniques and in land governance may be able to learn from past mistakes, for the benefit of our future.

  • There is a vast and growing demand for skills in the land and environmental field and the implementation of appropriate technologies, both in Italy and in economically less developed countries.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The career opportunities for graduates from the Master's Degree Programme in Land and Environmental Engineering are as follows:

  • planning and management of hydraulic and defence works, environmental health systems, urban and extra-urban transport systems and environmental surveys, to be carried out both independently and an in an innovative way;
