Study Programme Sheet

Why study Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques at the University of Brescia?
  • The Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques enables graduates to carry out all radiological, radiological, nuclear medicine and radiotherapy imaging procedures, making independent and highly professional use of modern equipment, including X-rays, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound. These modern means of medical investigation, now essential in all medical disciplines, are used under the responsibility of the graduate, who will also take care of quality controls.

  • The teamwork specific to this professionalising Study Programme is characterised by active collaboration with health care physicians, especially with radiology physicians, nuclear medicine specialists and radiotherapist physicians.

  • Radiographers acquire a very high professional level, with more and more space for them in the health care sector, as a result of the highly technological content of this Study Programme and its strong link with the continuous development of radiological equipment and techniques.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates in Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques can carry out their activity in public (local health authorities, hospitals) or private (rest homes, clinics), as employees or self-employed professionals.
