Why study Sciences and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Physical Activities at the University of Brescia?
  • To receive sound training in the area of Sport Sciences as to be able to plan, lead and manage motor activity, taking into account gender specificities, enjoying a high degree of independence in the job and also taking on responsibility for projects and facilities.

  • To acquire advanced skills in the area of physical activity with the aim of providing recreation, socialisation, prevention, maintenance and recovery of the individuals' optimum physical efficiency at different stages of life.

  • To acquire an in-depth knowledge of physical education methods and techniques for the disabled, using the main computer tools for their specific areas of competency.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates from the Master's Degree Programme in Sciences and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Physical Activities are able to work in high-powered jobs in various fields relating to planning, conducting and managing both preventative and adaptive physical activity, in particular teaching activities in schools, training and recreational activities requiring the involvement of educators; actions carried out on individuals with disabilities or functional deficits, in team with medical and health staff in health assistance centres, care homes, retirement homes or in the home care field; promotional sport activity, both amateur and agonistic, at clubs, associations and sports societies; organising and managing sports facilities.
