Admission to master's degrees programmes in Engineering

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: possession of a Bachelor's Degree or a three year University Diploma. Furthermore  adequate knowledge at the bachelor’s degree level  relevant to the Master's Study Programme subject areas is required:  the University establishes specific admission policies that provide for the possession of the curricular requirements and the assessment of personal preparation of the candidate, as detailed in the study Programme's Teaching Regulations (link available below). Verification of personal preparation includes also knowledge of the English language at level B1 or B2 of CEFR (Common European framework  of reference for languages).

No admission test will be administered.

The appropriate  Commissions established  by the Teaching Coordination Board will perform the assessment of the applications.

STUDENTS GRADUATED ABROAD

Admission of students in possession of suitable qualifications from abroad is regulated by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research's ‘Regulations for Admission of Foreign Students to University Programmes‘. Regulations for students in possession of qualifications obtained abroad can be found in the International Students area of the website (link in the column on the right).

Knowledge of the Italian language is necessary to enroll on Master's degree programmes taught in Italian: for non-UE students living abroad a certificate of level B2 or higher issued as part of the CLIQ quality system is required. In the event that this certificate has not been obtained,  students must successfully undertake an  Italian language test to be allowed to sit the compulsory selective test. The Italian language test is held on 1 September 2017 at 10:00 a.m.  at the Teaching unit of Engineering, Via Branze 38, Brescia.

FUTURE GRADUATES AT ITALIAN UNIVERSITIES

Admission applications may be submitted also by students who are expected to graduate within the following deadlines

  • future graduates in Engineering at the University of Brescia: 31 March 2018
  • future graduates in other bachelor’s degree programmes at the University of Brescia; future graduates at other universities in Italy: 31 December 2017
ADMISSION APPLICATION

The admission application form should be submitted as indicated in the Notice

  • graduates and future graduates at Italian universities must submit online the admission application form using their personal page, starting from 21 august 2017 and by 25 September 2017.  
  • graduates at foreign universities must make an appointment electronically through the service Infostudente with the Students’ career management office for Engineering  (U. O.C. Gestione Carriere di Ingegneria) - Via S. Faustino 74/B, within 25 September 2017 in order to deliver the admission application form and the documents listed below:
  1. original degree certificate issued by the foreign university, translated into Italian, legalised and with a declaration of value from the competent Italian consular representative of the country in which it was awarded;
  2. original degree certificate issued by the foreign university, containing a list of the examinations taken (if the document is not in English, French or Spanish language you should translate it into Italian), legalised by the competent Italian consular representative of the country in which it was awarded;
  3. syllabus of examinations taken stamped by the foreign university (if the document is not in English, French or Spanish language you should translate it into Italian), legalised by the competent Italian consular representative of the country in which the degree was awarded
