- Knowledge and understanding. The course provides the basic tools necessary to understand and interpret actuarial operations. Mathematical abstraction is declined in the conventions of practice.
- Applying knowledge and understanding. Students will be able to understand the functioning of non life insurance contracts.
- Making judgments. Students will be able to judge the convenience of actuarial operations by comparing them based on summary indicators.
- Communication skills. Students are taught (and, therefore, required) the ability to adequately formulate answers to the theoretical questions with the formal/technical language that characterizes the discipline. Synthetic and clear presentations are required.
- Learning skills. The contents of the course are provided to the students through various teaching methods. The methods are aimed not only at developing the ability to understand and apply knowledge, with independent judgment and adequate communication skills, but also to increase the knowledge on contents similar to those of course.
