The course aims to outline the historical profile of legal experience, with specific attention to the Italian context in the European and global context, in the contemporary age (XIX-XX centuries).
The general theme will be addressed in the two modules in which the course is divided, from two different perspectives, integrated between them.
The module given by Prof. Cassi intends to focus both on the historiographical profile both the concept of "code", with the effects on the system of sources and the exegetical activity of the jurist, and on some of its realizations during the considered diachronic arc.
The module given by Prof. Fusar Poli, intends to address the historical-juridical path identified above, from a perspective of "law in action", that is analyzing the aspects inherent to the application of the law. This, from the profile of its main characters (judiciary and advocacy, judicial institutions) and their activity (jurisprudence).
