Prerequisites to this course concern the skills learnt during Technical Drawing course: reading and carrying out drawings of mechanical parts, complete with tolerances and surface roughness indication.
The educational goals are to provide fundamentals and practical experience in workflow of Technical Documents: Technical drawing; Photographic illustrations; technical writing; Content repository Management; Document outlines; Typography; Media and Distribution channels.

CAD systems. Lab experience for 3D parametric CAD. Lab experience for 3D non-parametric CAD. Outlines of Technical Documents. Workflow of photographic production. Experience in Photo Lab. Professional profile of a photographer. Professional profile of a Patent Consultant. Proper use of a word processor. Raster/Bitmap image processing. Vectorial illustrations processing.
