The knowledge and the use of communicative styles and of interpersonal answers effective in the application of welfare planning. The deepening of bibliography of assistential relationship module and General Nursing II, UD n ° 3-b: the nursing care methodology and the nursing care process.

Educational Goals

Develop emotional intelligence using reflection. Strengthen the useful skills for care planning, towards the assisted person, the family and the community using the relational and communicative skills acquired. Acquire the ability to use the nursing care planning tool

Content

Application of the nursing care process through a person-centered approach, with a caregiving perspective that envisages a conception of illness extended to the biological dimension, of the lived and the subjective meanings.

Extended Syllabus

1) The Functional Models of M. Gordon.
2) Deepening on the Model of Sexuality and Reproduction & Values and Beliefs.
3) Analysis of the main basic emotions.
4) Emotional intelligence as a useful tool for Nursing Assessment.
5) Negotiation and its application in data collection.
6) Experience the negotiation through a role play.

Teaching Methods

Analysis of low complexity clinical cases through group works supervised by the teacher and plenary sessions. Welfare planning experiment concerning the disciplinary contents of the reference year.

Assessment Methods

For the teaching activity of “Laboratory” every office freely plans the test for which the dates will be identified during the exam sessions expected for the academic year. Student acquires credits attending expected activities for not less of 80% of programmed hours and with the overcoming of a test, at the reference training site. The evaluation will be expressed in “suitable” or “not suitable”. If “suitable”, credit will be assigned, if “not suitable”, credit won’t be allowed, and student will acquire it during calls of next years.

The Lab aims to acquire special qualifications to develope of competence related to nursing. The thematic area of the Lab, with its general and specific objectives, is programmed and realized on students' training needs, specific opportunities and available resources.
