The course of "Microelectronics"
The course is focused on the design strategy and methodology of analog integrated circuits. Advances topologies of analog circuits in terms of power consumption, low voltages and robustness are studied and designed. At the end of the course, the students reach the knowledge to design a medium complexity analog circuit. A final project and its discussion is required.
Analytical models of CMOS and parasitic effects; CADENCE simulator, Current mirrors, basic amplifier stages. Cascode amplifier, Differential and fully-differential opamps; two stages opamp, frequency compensation. Design of low voltage analog circuits. EMI immunity.
integrated technologies, MOS, amplifiers, current mirrors, current and voltage references, DC/DC converters, EMI immunity, advanced topologies
