The purpose of the course is to provide students the computer tools needed in their nursing and research activities.
Use of the MS Office package for the management, analysis and presentation of health data.
MS Office: - Excel: how to collect, input, manage and present the data, - Word: how to prepare a report; - Power point: how to prepare a presentation.
Lessons in the Computer Lab using the method "learning by doing".
A single final exam evaluates the student ion on the topics covered by the three modules of the course. The exam is written and consists of some open or multiple-choice questions and guided exercises on data analysis. The exam takes place in the computer lab and involves the use of the computer. The student can use the material provided during the course.
Due to the health emergency, the program of the course as well as the modalities of teaching and examination may change. Any changes will be immediately communicated by email to all those enrolled in the course.
