The course aims to engage students in the analysis of the transformations of labour and human resource management systems, in theory and practice.
The course analyses relationships among organizational change and Human Resource Management practices and models. In the first part the evolution of work practices and of HRM function is presented. The second part relates to the analysis of HRM practices under the approach of value cycle: people, relationships, performance evaluation and compensation.

In-class lectures, case studies discussion and project work with students' presentations.
Written exam. In addition,students will present and discuss a Project Work agreed with the lecturer. For the PW students, the integrative written part is based on three open question for discussion of main aspects. For not PW students, the exam includes five open questions on the implication of HRM on firm performance.
