Prerequisites to this course concern the skills learnt during Technical Drawing course: reading and carrying out drawings of mechanical parts, complete with tolerances and surface roughness indication.
The educational goals are to provide the student the ability to develop the complete design of a mechanical machine. Functional solution, development of a parametric CAD virtual model, technical drawings of assembly and parts, project report.
