The aim of the course is to provide students in Buildng-architectural engineering in the design methodologies of some fundamental hydraulic works used for the control and management of water resources and their sewerage after use.
They will be particularly thorough application issues related to the verification of the operation of existing water infrastructure and options for their rehabilitation. This is particularly important in contexts already urbanized, as many infrastructures are already in place, but now obsolete.
Given the vastness of the subject, which requires a drastic selection of the topics to be discussed, it was decided by the works management and control of major interest in the field: the urban water supply sisthems and sewers with some ancillary works of general interest, such as storm drains, siphons , etc.
