The course of Economics aims to provide some instruments to undestand the phenomena (macro-) economic, through some simple tools and basic techniques, applied in a rigorous but intuitive and empirical manner. The main topics will cover macro-economic indicators, the goods markets, the financial markets, the financial crisis of 2007-08 and 2011.
The main issues will be the study of economic phenomena, the main economic crisis, macro-economic indicators, the goods markets, the financial markets, the financial crisis of 2007-08 and 2011. For students who choose for the course of 9CFU the program will be integrated with information about the recent events that have affected the world economy: the financial crisis, the sovereign debt crisis, and uncertainty, plus some notes on European Economic and monetary Union and the euro.
