The chip removal processes are, to date, fundamental for the realization of a mechanical component. These processes, have had in the course of time a remarkable evolution due to the degree of innovation of the machine tool through which they are fabricated.

Without this premise this module is divided into two parts: the first, the student will deepen the knowledge on machine tools while the second the student will have to design the processing cycle of a component and then create it at the educational workshops.
