Educational Program
a. presentation of the course structure and activity of the group;
b. socialization and discussion of their experiences, expectations and motivations, and their study through group work;
c. identification of the services that will be on the training and documentation necessary for a first collection of information on the same subject to documentation of study, pairing of students to services;
d. organization of the first contact with the service and the Professional Educator supervisor, subsequent comparison group: Ist visit to the service (December);
and. knowledge of the service, the activity of the educator and the other operators, types of users: the presence of the student in the service is set for a week 12 to 17 January year 2015.
Tools and Methods
The contribution of Methods and Techniques of educational intervention using the group as a tool for learning and work, and the interview as a means of supporting the training course.
The direct and active participation of the students, both in lessons and in home service of training, both on-line learning process develops a knowledge and processing that aims to connect the practical experience to the knowledge acquired during the course of the studies.
During the lessons is provided the use of techniques, exercises, analysis of materials produced by the students in order to facilitate the participation and integration of each student in the group work.
The teacher will provide bibliographic references and handouts that students will use to support the process of reworking the experience and knowledge for the achievement of objectives.
The student is recommended keeping a diary intended as a professional tool which records the internship experience made daily in the service; extracts from the diary, selected by the student, may be used during class.
It 's possible during the entire year of the course, to use the interview as an instrument - at the disposal of the teacher and the student - to support and periodically check the progress of training.
Organisation of training
- It is expected the presence of individual students in services with the task of planning and implementing the training process knowledge of the service and the role / functions Educator Professional.
- The timing of training for the first year include the presence of the student in the apprenticeship for a total of 200 hours structured as follows:
day or a week (which corresponds to the opening time of the service in which the training takes place), according to the teaching calendar;
- from 12/01 to 17/01/2015 an initial period of intensive training, with a goal: a first general knowledge of the service and of those who work;
- from 23/02 to 14/03/2015 a second intensive period, with objective: the creation of a specific cognitive level.
- The insertion in services is supported by cognitive and methodological contributions related to the process of knowledge and the Professional Educator figure, provided by the teacher and the elaboration of individual experience in the group.
- The elaboration of the experience of training within the University will take place in the group headed under the contribution of Methods and Techniques of educational intervention.
- The internship is supervised by the educator in the service or support worker in charge of the service.
