The course begins with a review and some insights on the fundamentals of thermodynamics. Follows a presentation of the analytical methods of the thermodynamics of equilibrium and non-equilibrium states, for homogeneous and heterogeneous systems, with and without chemical reactions, which provide a unifying key interpretation for simple and complex transport phenomena important for future developments of energy technology engineering.
Complementary notions of thermodynamics of mixtures and non-equilibrium for the engineering of new energy technologies.
