The information below relates all the ANATOMY II Course.
TESTS IN PROGRESS:
The two tests in progress scheduled are not obligatory and provide only the eligibility. They are valid until the April session of the calendar year following the end of the Course.
Only students who in the current academic year must officially follow the teaching of Anatomy II, even if they have not yet passed the Anatomy I exam or the Histology exam, can take this tests.
- First test: it is oral and is scheduled for the first semester; it concerns the systematic anatomy of bones, joints and muscles of the head, neck, back, thorax, abdomen and limbs and the topographical anatomy of the limbs. This test also includes the recognition and description of anatomical material and radiological images.
-Second test in itinere: it is written and is scheduled at the end of the second semester; it concern the microscopic anatomy and provides the description and the differential organ diagnosis of a slide observed under a microscope.
EXAM:
The Anatomy I exam is a prerequisite for the Anatomy II exam.
Examination methods:
The exam is divided into three parts that will take place in succession in the same appeal.
First part: written test - only for those who did not support / pass the in progress test of microscopic anatomy. This part concern for the recognition and description of a slide under a microscope. This part does not provide a vote but only the suitability. This part is preparatory to the second part of the exam and will be carried out for all the students enrolled in the appeal at the beginning of the exam.
Second part: oral examination - only for those who have not passed / passed the relative test in itinere. Topics of the trial are the systematic anatomy of bone muscles and joints and the topographical anatomy of the limbs. This part also includes the recognition and description of anatomical material and radiological images. The test does not provide a vote but only the suitability. This part is propaedeutic to the third part of the exam.
Third part (final part): oral examination. It takes place immediately after the second part. Topics are: the systematic anatomy of vessels, nerves and organs (including their structure) and the topographical anatomy of: head, neck, back, thorax, abdomen; the clinical anatomy. The test also includes the recognition and description of anatomical material and radiological images.
In the appeals with a high number of students the second and the third part can be spaced a few days after the first test according to a distribution of the students that will be communicated just after the verification of the present enrolled in the appeal.
Any parts passed during the examination that were to be concluded with a negative result will not be valid for subsequent appeals; tests in progress remain valid.
