- KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING. The course aims to provide knowledge of the systems of administration and control of tourism enterprise, with reference to the hotel industry.
- APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING. At the end of the course, students will be able to develop the necessary skills for implementing the planning and management control systems of the tourism enterprises. This enables students to acquire specific skills for future employment in such organisations, in the areas of administration and control, and consultancy in the same contexts.
- MAKING JUDGEMENTS. Thanks to the knowledge and skills acquired, students are able to assess the relevant variables to be monitored in relation to the methods to generate results and the integration between economic, social and environmental performance.
- COMMUNICATION SKILLS. The course trains students to use the specialised language of business administration and management control. This favours their ability to communicate and interact with managers and professionals of hospitality industry.
- LEARNING SKILLS. Knowledge and understanding, judgement and communication skills acquired thanks to this course are useful to students who intend to enroll in a master’s degree programme or a professional course in tourism management.
