Presentation and Brand Identity

In July 2013, the University of Brescia (UniBS) resolved to become Italy's first thematic university, with the theme of population Health&Wealth. This vocation, drawn from the different subject areas of the University, is planned in various scientific areas, including those of technology, medicine and biology, law and economics, ethics, regulations and culture.

The institution's identity is built on the principles and values that inspire it: this identity is strengthened - within and outside the institution - by a clear and distinguished image.

The new trademark, registered on 12 June 2014, is the University Brand and the main communication tool for the new identities, which conveys the values linked to the new mission of the Università degli Studi di Brescia.

The University of Brescia seal, granted on 4 October 1986 by Decree of the President of the Republic, will continue to be present on official documents and used whenever considered appropriate.

The importance of high-quality identity at all levels of communication is fundamental: for this reason, a Manual has been created for Use of the Trademark and University Seal, a tool which aims to protect and standardise use of the trademark, providing guidelines for consistent application and ensuring proper use by collaborators, suppliers, agencies and the media.
The manual is not for public use and can only be accessed in the University intranet.
